Steven was the beloved son of Sheila Diamond and the late Arthur Diamond, and was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Irene Getto. He is survived by his devoted sister, Elissa Diamond-Fields, and her husband, Josh Fields. Among those who held a special place in Steven's heart was his niece, Lexie Fields, with whom he shared a deep and loving bond.

A man of many interests, Steven had an enduring passion for music that shaped much of his life. Whether attending concerts or simply enjoying his favorite tunes, music brought him immense happiness. He also had a lifelong love for sports, especially baseball, and was rarely seen without his signature Yankees cap.
