Ruth
Newland
May 17, 1944 — Jun 28, 2026
It is with grateful hearts and unwavering faith in God's promises, we celebrate the life of Ruth Neva Bennette -Newland, aka Rose, who peacefully went to rest on June 28, 2026 at the age of 82.
Born on May 17, 1944 in Bagwalk, St. Catherine, Jamaica, W. I. Ruth lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She loved the Lord with all her heart and sought to reflect His love through acts of kindness, generosity, and unwavering care for others.
Ruth believed that one of life's greatest callings was to serve. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a comforting word, preparing a meal, or quietly meeting the needs of someone facing hardship. She never hesitated to help those in need. Her life was a living testimony that faith is demonstrated through love in action.
Family and the Lord was the center of her heart. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with loved ones, celebrate life's milestones, and create lasting memories. Her wisdom, gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering faith brought comfort and encouragement to everyone who knew her.
Though Ruth, aka Rose, will be deeply missed, we find peace in knowing that she has received the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Her legacy of faith, love, compassion, and selfless service will continue to inspire family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Her kindness.
Ruth is lovingly survived by 6 siblings, 4 biological children and 4 adopted daughters, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and other loved ones.
